Religious Tattoos
Religious tattoos have been around for as long as there has been religion. A few religions actually prohibit tattooing so in these cases temporary tattoos, such a henna, are used for celebratory functions.
Many people have religious tattoos to express their devotion. There has been an explosion of Budda tattoos and of course the cross. Angel wings are a fairly recent addition with huge popularity, especially on the back.
